Black Pistol Fire – Lost Cause
Black Pistol Fire is Kevin McKeown and Eric Owen. They grew up playing music together in Ontario before relocating to Austin several years ago. While none of us were paying attention they started touring around the US and building their band’s profile. They worked hard and good things happened to them. Agents and promoters recognized that they were a killer live band. Opportunities became better and better. They got booked to tour with The Killers, Wolfmother, and Weezer. They were awarded slots on Lollapalooza, Bonaroo, Austin City Limits, and Governors Ball… Literally the best festivals in the US.
Music Supervisors caught on. Their material was placed in the Toyota Prius ad shown during halftime at last year’s Super Bowl. T-Mobile used one of their songs in an ad and then their music found it’s way into Sons Of Anarchy. Video game placements include NHL 2017, Tony Hawk, and Madden. The TV placements are too numerous to include.
Black Pistol Fire tour relentlessly and can be counted on to consistently fill some of the most prestigious music venues in major cities. They’ve sold out New York’s Bowery Ballroom, LA’s Troubador, Chicago’s Metro, and Emo’s in Austin.
Black Pistol Fire’s first single is “Lost Cause”and it’s incredible. They’ll be back up in Canada on this tour…
