The provincial election is coming up next month.
May 9th you’ll get a chance to vote for your BC government.
The Lake Country Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all candidates forum.
It’ll be Thursday April 27th from 7-9pm at the Creekside Theatre.

It’s been just over a year since a public health emergency was declared due to an epidemic of opiod-related overdoses in BC.
In that time, there have been an additional 919 deaths province-wide.
Kelowna has reported 47.
Already this year there have been 17 In Kelowna.
Interior Health Medical Health Officer Dr Silvina Mema says this isn’t a just health system issue.
Dr.Mema says it’s a very complex problem that the health system can’t solve.
She’s also hoping that as more people are trained to use Naloxone, the number of overdoses will slow.
The WHL has named Kelowna Rockets forward Reid Gardiner the player of the week. He had 12 points in 3 games. Rockets start their Western Conference Championship series against the Thunderbirds in Seattle this coming Friday and Saturday.
